Momma always said I was a creative one. And creative I am. I began with the camera in theology class freshman year of high school, demonstrating the life of a flower through pictures. I still have that project saved from one of my first digital cameras.

The love of photos carried on through the crazy college years and photographing friends doing anything and everything. To the point where I was known as the one who was always "with the camera". But I gotta say I got a lot of good memories captured in those years!

 And then I was pregnant, and the NEED for a good camera and finding photography skills was formed.

I have since fiddled around with family and helping friends capture weddings. I love to capture the subtle moments that some may miss, yet they are so important. If you spend the whole time focusing on the main subject you may often miss the mom wiping the tear from her eye as her son says I do, or the child in the pew picking his nose because he's bored. Capturing the emotion of the moment is key.

I'm no pro yet...but all good things take patience and practice. I since have had a second child and now have my oldest training with her "kidizoom digital camera" and yes she has got the selfie thing down! Kids are amazing these days...however monkey see, monkey do and she's just copying her momma now. I am open to exploring any new photography adventures, however family portraits, and kids are my starting zone, as thats where I am most comfortable.
